There are general rules of fishing with spinning. The smallest, and therefore the lightest lures (spinners or dead fish up to 4-5 cm) they require a very light rod with a rather soft tip and a semi-soft action, load capacity 10-15 g, a lightweight reel with a shallow spool and possibly thin, soft lines (0,15-0,18 do 0,20 mm). The types of spinners and their colors should comply with the general rules; especially the effectiveness of matt silver and pearl spoons and the purposefulness of diversifying spinner axes with a red detail should be emphasized (bead on the axis, thread, etc.. on the hook). Combinations of a small plastic fish and a spinner can be helpful here (Mepps nr 1 -2).
When fishing with a spinning rod, we need a slow reaction of the chub (the rate of the reaction is somewhat dependent on the thermal conditions), adjust the bait lead pace accordingly, however, it cannot be too slow – chub should not be allowed to play with the bait.
Spinning does too, unfortunately, wrong side: is sometimes the most common cause of "training” klenia. In virgin waters we can successfully spin in all conditions, in waters visited by anglers in great numbers only exceptionally, e.g.. at the beginning of the season, by mid summer, in the evening after sunset; about gray only in calmer waters and on the border of rapids and quiet stretches. In stagnant waters, we can only be successful in summer with the so-called. biological turbidity. After all, summer and autumn, when the water is completely transparent, we can't do much with spinning. Of course, the possibility does not therefore need to be ruled out, that a new one will work, type of bait not used in the water.
The rules of fishing with the bypass
With this method, we need a light rod with a semi-soft action, even 4-5 m in length and load capacity 10-20 g, small lightweight fixed spool reel (possibly a plain one with a movable spool), vein 0,15-0,18 mm. We can fish the sailboat on the surface or at different depths. We register taking a fish with a finger, with which we hold the line, a float then – if it is needed at all – Its only task is to keep the lure at the correct water level. We rather choose floats made of natural materials – made of undyed cork, goose feathers etc..
The size of the hook is adjusted to the bait – the red worm is suitable for hook no 6-8, larvae on numbers 10-12, prick the cockchafer and the grasshopper on hooks of the size 3-4. The choice of the lure depends on the season, and also on the way of fishing – giez, Grasshopper, the cockchafer can be caught mainly on the surface; fruit, earthworms can be used in different layers of water, also at the bottom. Round fruits - cherries - are especially suitable for fishing with baits rolled along the bottom, cherries, plums, strawberries. The chub is not in the habit of staying in waters deeper than 2 m, a lightweight float with buoyancy 3-4 g is usually installed permanently at two points. Thanks to this, when fishing with the current, we can use a float holding the float and thus achieve maximum contact with the lure, allowing us to react early to a bite.. Strengthen the through weight with a limiter made of a valve rubber in the distance 50-60 cm, so as not to frighten the fish unnecessarily. If the water current is strong, we shorten this distance.
When we gain the appropriate dexterity, try to gradually increase the radius of the fishing, while taking care of it, that the excess line does not hang down and that the float only accompanies the bait, and he was in no way ahead of her. When we deserve the title of champions and we manage to maintain close contact with the lure, even at a distance 15-20 m, our prey will become the greatest, the most careful copies.
