Still waters

Still waters

The currently widespread tendency to shift the interests of fish management from flowing waters to standing waters is partly a necessity - it allows to eliminate the risk of ecological failure, which running water is always at risk, partly it results from the need to rationally exploit all waters suitable for fishing. Some of the advantages of stagnant water over running water are indisputable (the possibility of purposefully shaping the cast and intensive management in general), However, greater interest in them should not neglect flowing waters. Still waters are certainly an important area of activity for fishing, however, the attention of fishermen in the future will also be focused on the varied and rich flowing waters.

From the group of stagnant waters, from our point of view, they are worth attention: old man, fire pits, drainage canals, small tanks: retention and drainage, dam reservoirs and lakes.
