The proposed methods of tarnishing the lures are not always the best. Painting dots or stripes only eliminates some of the shine, and burning over gas leads to it, that the bait turns black quickly. The optimal solution to the problem will be to use silver varnish for the rims of car wheels. It covers the bait as shown in the photo 1. After this treatment, the spinners retain their "fishy" color, and at the same time they cease to be deterrently shiny (picture 2). Also old artificial lures, which have long since lost their colors, after such varnishing, they will be “as new” (of course, no gloss). Tremble predators.
